What is human life?

Human life is nothing but what?I do not know.But trying to know about life.A poet has said that life is nothing but shadow.On the other hand some body can say life is nothing but sorrow.I think that both word is fit for life.but no body can not give the defenation bout life.only life can give the defenation of life.
